The music collection of the Zentralbibliothek Zurich

In addition to a comprehensive collection of printed music and sound recordings, the Music Department of the Zentralbibliothek holds around 200 bequests and corporate archives. Founded in 1971, it has become an important repository of Swiss music manuscripts. Since 1996 it has been housed in the Gothic Predigerchor. A small selection of precious items awaits you in the reading room of the music department.
